Although Michelle can often be found balancing budgets and allocating funds for Fresh PR, these are not her only contributions. As a Senior SUNY Geneseo Student Michelle Donovan is a double major in both Communication and Sociology. From Hauppauge, New York Michelle has entered the world of Communication with a high interest in learning all that she can about the field. As a team member and social chair of Geneseo’s Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team, Michelle has learned to balance time and money when dealing with an organization. In taking extensive Communication classes Michelle has had hands on experience in working with various clients in rebranding , revamping, and revitalizingbusinesses in Geneseo such as Swain Sports and Lauderdale Health and Counseling Center. When Michelle is not involved with her various studies she enjoys going skiing, spending time with family and friends, and writing.
Megan is from Syracuse; New York is a senior at SUNY Geneseo and is a major of Communications. Megan has a strong passion for the communication field. Prior to joining fresh PR Megan worked as an intern at CNY central news in Syracuse, New York assisting the media director where she applied many of her skills. Megan currently serves as a PR intern at Eric Mower and Associates where she manages all advertising and Press Releases for the Rochester area and clients like the Genesee Brewery. She understands the overall industry and is always willing to assist new clients and show them the path to success. As director of media services, Megan is responsible for the development of all media services, including the planning, negotiating, buying and executing of all services. She provides direction and oversight on media planning and execution for agency clients. She manages the media planning team, working with account managers and interacting with clients to make them see the clear picture through fresh PR. She has worked on numerous campaigns including Swain Sports, Livingston County Health services, and Image Empire Salon.
With her imaginative visions and artistic talents, Johanna brings in a breath of fresh air as Creative Director of Fresh Public Relations. Her background as a Communication major and Psychology minor at SUNY Geneseo has provided Johanna with the means to succeed. She has countless hours of hands on experience in the Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising industry with Fresh PR. This includes the revitalization of Mount Morris, NY in 2010 and the transition from Swain Sports to Swain Sports 2 in Geneseo, NY in 2009. Johanna’s natural leadership skills and teamwork abilities have only further developed with her positions as Captain of the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse Team and Public Relations Chair of the Marketing Club at SUNY Geneseo. When she’s not sketching a new logo, you can find Johanna sketching in her leisure, taking a run, or checking out the latest music.
Skylar Jameson is a senior English and Communication Major at SUNY Geneseo with a 3.9 GPA. Her passions include research and the written and spoken word, and her original research on women in the media was accepted to the James C. McCroskey and Virginia P Richmond Undergraduate Scholars Conference in Arlington, VA in 2011. She has rich experience writing, editing, researching, and creating both in and outside of the classroom. She was selected for a highly competitive student internship with the Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield, premier insurance provider in Western New York in the summer of 2011, served as a teaching assistant to Dr. Herman, the Chair of Communication department at SUNY Geneseo in the spring of 2011, and is currently working with The Verdi Group, a research-directed marketing agency in Rochester New York. Skylar is proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Final Cut Pro, and promotion via social network and she cannot wait to start your next project!
Hannah is a senior Communication major and Business minor at SUNY Geneseo. With a passion for PR she spends most of her time working as the Main Street Manager for Mount Morris and as a PR intern for Roberts Communications. As the Vice President of Alpha Kappa Phi, Hannah not only has well established leadership skills but is responsible for coordinating all sorority events. With the perfect balance of creativity, organization, intuition, and experience with integrated marketing communications Hannah is exactly who you want handling your business' account.
